The legendary Breitling pilot's chronograph - for the journey. In 1952, Willy Breitling developed a chronograph with a circular slide rule with which pilots could perform all the necessary flight calculations. Two years later, the famous American AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association) made this design its official watch.

The "Navigation Timer" or Navitimer was born. The AOPA is and remains the largest pilots' association in the world and counts almost all American pilots among its members. As the de facto pilot's watch during the glorious era of civil aviation, the Navitimer was worn by pilots and aviation enthusiasts alike.

In 1962, it even travelled into space on the wrist of astronaut Scott Carpenter. But it wasn't just pilots who were impressed by the watch's irrepressible aesthetics.

Celebrities such as Miles Davis and Serge Gainsbourg were also among its admirers, proving that the Navitimer was not only elegant, but also functional.

Since its launch 70 years ago, several models of this Breitling icon have been released, but this new Navitimer impresses with classic features that have been refined with the help of modern enhancements.

The flattened slide rule and curved crystal create the impression of a slimmer profile.

The alternation of polished and brushed metal elements creates a shiny yet subtle appearance.
