In the early 1940s, Willy Breitling was already dreaming of a post-war era in which utility would give way to unbridled optimism.

He began to design a chronograph that would retain functionality, but would also be undeniably elegant and flattering, in his own words: "the unmistakable stamp of impeccable taste". Out of this came a new line of watches called "Premier".

This modern version of the Premier preserved the distinctive details of the vintage Premier, such as the smooth fixed bezel, twin-register dial, streamlined rectangular pushers and applied Arabic numerals.

The Premier B01 Chronograph 42 is available in a range of dial colours and case materials.

It is also available with a classic alligator leather strap or a slender 7-link metal bracelet.

The Chronograph is powered by the Breitling Calibre B01 (Manufacture), mechanical, self-winding and COSC-certified, with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours.

Alternation of 28,800 a.p.h., 41 jewels.

42 mm stainless steel case.

Screw-down case back with sapphire crystal.
