VHP corresponds to the acronym Very High Precision and refers to the incredible achievement of LONGINES obtaining in these models an annual variation of / - 5 seconds per year. Quartz / battery watches with COSC Certifications, are subjected to rigorous precision tests obtaining the Certification if they achieve annual parameters of / - 26 seconds per year. LONGINES has managed to improve these results thanks to its GPD (Gear Position Detection) system that detects and regulates the variations that can occur due to magnetic fields or blows in the box. In addition, all VHP models incorporate a perpetual calendar, a great complication that allows us to worry about manipulating the crown to synchronize the calendar.
