Since the 1960s, scuba diving has become a popular activity. Breitling understood that for divers, time is crucial and created a diver's watch that prioritized readability and functionality underwater. Thus was born the Superocean Slow Motion, a watch designed with clean lines, robust luminescent indexes, square hands and a high-contrast dial ring.

The Breitling Superocean Automatic 46 Super Diver retains the iconic design of the Slow Motion and updates it with modern features such as a scratch-resistant matte ceramic bezel and camouflage dials. Large hands and indexes with Super-LumiNova® ensure excellent readability underwater.

This watch is water resistant to 1000 m (3300 ft) and withstands shock, sand and salt water.

Its soft-iron inner case protects it from magnetic fields and its bi-directional rotating bezel can be locked by a latch on the left side of the case. Available straps (rubber or titanium) include a butterfly clasp with micro-adjustments up to 15mm, making it easy to wear over wetsuits or underwater clothing.
